The Houston Northwest area is located twenty miles from Houston's central business district. This unincorporated Harris County region has a strong sense of community. Extensive areas of forested beauty have made this area one of the most popular residential locations in the Houston region.
Northwest Houston includes over two hundred square miles of land. The local territory includes a good balance of open rural and forested acreage. We are located within a reasonable commute of the huge job base in Houston, a factor which has attracted many of the area's suburban residents. The Hardy Tollway, Interstate 45, Kuykendahl, Veterans Memorial Drive, State Highway 249 and U. S. 290 all provide good links to Houston. In addition, the opening of the Sam Houston Tollway in recent years added excellent access to the southwest and to the east.
Local public schools have been a strong area attraction. Klein,Aldine, and CyFair Independent School Districts place a strong emphasis upon a comprehensive instruction program for all types of students. A major priority of the Spring Independent School District is the attraction and development of a high quality professional staff within an environment of achieving the highest student potentials.
The Woodlands
There are five villages (with a sixth being developed) which comprise The Woodlands master-planned community, located 27 miles north of downtown Houston.
